Bahia II – Itacaré… Relax

Miya – Adorei! Nossa….Itacaré was what I imagined to be that total 100% tropical Brasil.  Hot, Sunny, Warm Water, Coconut Trees, Natural Juices.  Our room had a panoramic view of the beach where we literally fell asleep and were woken by waves.  I keep talking about the breakfasts but seriously getting fueled for the beach each day was crucial.  Loved taking a refreshing swim in the ocean at 8:30 am, getting some sun, grabbing my açaí juice and best of all, munching on these fantastic local banana, cinnamon, sugar pastries that were delivered to us on the sand by a man dressed in all white, with a big smile, carrying these fresh treats in a pot on his head.  The center of the town was another adorable street jammed with restaurants where we could enjoy a tasty meal or a tropical drink.   When we drove around Bahia it was wonderful to observe the locals hanging out outside, watching that passers by as well as take in the vibrant colors of the painted houses (reds, yellows greens).

Resultado: dedinho do pé quebrado, enfaixado, game over!
